The village green is to the north of the village and is accessed from School Hill and Knob Hill. It provides space for walking and relaxation. Periodically it is used for fetes and gatherings, including open air church services.

The cricketfield lies at the centre of the village to the west of Church Street. It is accessed from either Hollands Way or the New Path off Church Street. As its name suggests it provides space for cricket and is a place for walking and other recreational activities within the village.
