8th January 2021

The adult gym equipment on the edge of the cricket field is currently closed due to Covid-19.  The parish council is following guidance from the Government who have stated that all outdoor gyms should close.  The Hollands Way Playground remains open, but users should abide by the social distancing and sanitising rules set out on the signage.

14th December 2020

The parish council has received several enquiries regarding the disappearance of the red phone box on Church Street.  As the phone is no longer operational, BT have disconnected the equipment and have allowed the landowner to ‘adopt’ the phone box.  The phone box was situated on private land and has now been relocated by the landowner.

27th November – New pothole reporting website

The County Council has set up a new website for reporting potholes.  The website allows residents to see if a pothole has already been reported and whether it has been scheduled for repair.  To report potholes in the parish please visit Report a pothole online – West Sussex County Council

18th November – Warnham to Horsham Cycle/Bridleway temporarily closed for re-surfacing

Public Bridleway NO. 3647/1 is temporarily closed from 17th November for 21 days. The path closure is necessary to protect public safety whilst surfacing works are undertaken.  Further information can be found here.

30th October – Greening the Village Green – Residents Consultation

As part of the Wild About Warnham project, the Parish Council are asking for feedback from residents on some ideas for ‘Greening the Village Green’.  The Village Green is owned by the parish and therefore it is vital that any changes to its appearance and function are approved by residents. 4th August The Hollands Way Playground is now OPEN!

The Hollands Way Playground is now OPEN! We hope you enjoy the new equipment, which we think has really improved the playground. Please scroll down to see photos of the new equipment and a short video can be seen on our Facebook Page. The playground, village green swings and the cricket field gym equipment have been safety inspected. However, we cannot clean all of our play equipment once they are back in use to ensure that they are covid -free and so will be asking parents and carers to take reasonable precautions. There is signage up at each site advising you to socially distance, sanitise your hands regularly and not to use the equipment if you have any symptoms of Coronavirus.

24th July – The Discretionary Grants Fund Scheme

The Discretionary Grants Fund Scheme is a funding scheme for small businesses with high fixed property-related costs who are not eligible for the other Government funding schemes available to help businesses affected by coronavirus. There’s still time for small businesses with high fixed property-related costs who are not eligible for the other Government funded grant schemes and have had their income severely impacted by the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic to apply.

So far in Horsham District £518,000 has been paid to 54 businesses through the scheme and some £750,000 is still available.

20th May – Chairman’s Annual Report
